Even with all the bad luck I have had lately and being so overwhelmed I am able to take a step back and give thanks for the blessings in my life. I am grateful for my family however dysfunctional we are but it works for us. I am grateful for my friends, my many friends; although we may not talk or see each other all the time when we do it makes up for the distance between calls and visits. I am thankful for a roof over my our head and the ability to provide my family with food and necessities. I am thankful for my husband and children, who would I be without them? I am thankful for my family’s health. Thankful that my special girl is here with me and has defied the doctors who diagnosed her with Cri du Chat only 2.5 years.
How empty would my life be without gratitude. Yes, I am grateful for so many blessings!
