Guest Post Introduction

I have decided to have a guest post at least once a week and I asked my daughter Emily if she would be interested in being my guest author. Emily has recently taken up writing and photography, I thought it would be a good opportunity for her and myself. You see having teenagers is harder than I could have ever imagined. I don’t know if it’s hormones or resentment or what but we have been at each other’s throat’s lately. I thought if I give her this opportunity to express herself we may benefit from it and it may possibly help me see life through her eyes a little better. At the same time she has the opportunity to be out of the box with her creativity. It’s all her, unedited, all in her own words.

My life, a teenagers point of view…

Hello everyone, my name is Emily Mercedes. You might know me and or heard of me because of my wonderful mother. I will be a guest writer once a week and just share my feelings about reality out there. You might as well know that I am the second oldest of six. I am in 8th grade and I’m 13. I love sports, therefore I play them in school. I’m not like many of my friends because I play sports. I was the captain of the volleyball team and at the moment I’m captain of the soccer team. I don’t have enemies because I’m a very friendly person. Some people refer to me to be popular because so many people in school know me. I can be very shy but once you get to know me I come out of my shell. I plan on becoming successful in life if that’s God’s plan for me. When I’m older I’d like to either be a pastry chef or a makeup artist.
