2013 CDCS Week

2013 International Cri du Chat Awareness Week is coming to it’s end.

I have been amazed at the outpour of support circulating the Internet. Education is key if we want to make a difference.

There is so much ignorance in today’s society that it’s just NOT ok to ignore it.

We, the people are society, it is us that must contribute if we want change.

We must educate the world on the differently abled so that one day hopefully in the near future our loved ones are seen for who they are.

Let us unite to use our voices everyday, lets make everyday awareness day. Use each and every opportunity you get to educate someone. It only takes one person to make a difference.

I am a proud mother to a daughter who is differently abled. I was her voice yesterday, I am her voice today and I will be her voice for the rest of my life.
